Thatcham Festival offers exciting events this month

The annual Thatcham Festival takes place this month and offers the opportunity for people to get creative in a workshop, learn something new at a talk, explore our local area on a walk and enjoy a range of performances including music, drama and dance. There are also exhibitions and fairs celebrating local leisure activities and crafts. Many of these activities are offered to the public free of charge or for a small booking fee.

To kick-off the festival, a giant poetry installation called “The Recovery Poems” will be touring Thatcham this weekend, culminating in The Big Thatcham Fest-Off in the High Street. This will include live acoustic music and spoken word presentations. Alongside a night market of street food, gifts, community stalls.
