Kennet Radio presenters are feeling the heat

Jason Palmer, Steve Prout and Chris Capel will be walking the walk instead of their usual talking the talk at 19:30 on Friday 18th October when they embark on a Fire walk in aid of Marie Curie at Newbury rugby club in Monks lane.

Having interviewed the Berkshire community fundraiser Fiona Turner on air in order to raise awareness of the charity and in particular this event, all three presenters decided to signup to the challenge.

Marie Curie offer many services to people with terminal illness and their families whether through research, their helpline, hospices, bereavement support and specifically in Berkshire there is a nursing service which looks after people who wish to receive palliative care in the familiarity and comfort of their own home.

Jason, Steve and Chris would love your support!

You can cheer them along on the night as they walk the coals.

You can join them by signing up to the challenge yourself at https://www.trybooking.co.uk/KAV

If you are not feeling brave then there is a just giving page where you can make a sponsorship donation to help them hot foot it to the grand total  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jason-palmer-firewalk
