Prize raffle for Thatcham Charity
A Thatcham charity, Young People and Children First, has launched a charity raffle, with prizes including an afternoon on a private boat on the Thames for six people, a glamping weekend, premiere tickets to Newbury Races, and many more prizes.
The charity provides homes for 16-25 year olds who have been in foster care, a children’s home, a hostel or who have been homeless. Young People and Children First supports these young people as they mature into independent young people, providing family-size homes, physical and emotional support, life skills, and support into education and work.
The charity will be officially opening its third house in Thatcham on Tuesday 9th November, which will mean they can house four more young people.
