Youth support charity opens third house in Thatcham – and there’s a prize raffle

Young People and Children First is a charity based in Thatcham that is making a big difference.

The charity provides homes for 16 to 25 year olds who have been in foster care, a children’s home, a hostel or who have been homeless.  Young People and Children First prides itself in going above and beyond to support these young people as they mature into happy and independent young people.  The charity provides family size homes, physical and emotional support, life skills, and support into education and work.

The charity has officially opening its third West Berkshire house in Thatcham this week, which will mean they can house four more young people.
