Wash Common Garden and Craft Show announced

Calling all cooks, gardeners, and crafters ! The Wash Common Garden and Craft Show has been announced to take place on Saturday September 11th at the Wash Common Community Centre, Glendale Avenue, Wash Common.

This Garden and Craft Show is a much-loved local event, where local residents can get together and show their prize fruit, vegetables, jams, cakes, artwork, photography and more. The afternoon is rounded off with a lively auction of the goods, where you can go home laden with the best produce such as carrots, jam, Victoria sponges – a delightful afternoon.

This show is open to all people, not just residents of Wash Common, and there are separate categories for children. Categories include:

• Vegetables/Fruit/Flowers
• Baking & Preserves
• Flower Arranging
• Art & Photography
• Crafts

There are normally over 300 entries across different categories and it is an chance for both beginners and more experienced exhibitors to win a prize. Entry forms are available at local shops and businesses in Wash Common.
