Splendid Pro-Am day at Donnington Grove

Friday 4th September saw the annual Orchard Pro-Am at Donnington Grove Golf Club. In all, 72 players started, with the competition run on a shotgun basis and teams of 4, including a Pro player, from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The pros played a singles competition as well as a team match, with the two best stapleford scores counting (that’s when points are awarded based on how well a player scores compared to par for each hole).

First place in the Pro-Am stapleford challenge was Team Joe Simpson with a score of 91 points, Team Drew Ralph was second on 88 and third, with 88 on count back, was Team Tom Fleming. The pro players first place went to Adam Wooton with 39 points.
