Real Ale Festival gets going

It’s sunshine and smiles for Newbury’s Real Ale Festival 2021, as the festival returns today after a year off, as with many events.

A “gargantuan” amount of work has gone into ensuring this year’s event can take place safely, according to organisers. With hundreds of real ales and ciders, a gin bar, and of course the much awaited live act (yet to perform, as this article is being written), Reef. The band, most famous for hits such as “Place Your Hands” will be playing this evening with Duran Duran guitarist, Andy Taylor. 

Other bands playing include the extremely popular AC/DC tribute band Hell’s Bells, The Brit Pop Boys and The Skangsters.
