Panto! Robin Hood and Maid Marian at the Corn Exchange.

The award-winning Plested Brown and Wilsher return with another #NewburyPanto adventure with Robin Hood and Maid Marian, expect plenty of mischief, mayhem and merry-making!

Step into the magical forest of Newburyshire and join our swashbuckling hero Robin and his band of merry outlaws.

And so I did, last week. I was lucky enough to watch the adult performance, and this is a great panto. Harry Sweetman as Robin was brilliant, as was Samara Rawlins as Maid Marian. Of course it’s not a panto without a dame, and Graham Mackay-Bruce delivered brilliantly. The whole case were outstanding of course, the ensemble with their quick changes between scenes, and their expressions were so good.

Expect all the usual panto antics, cast roaming around the audience, joining in with the show, and of course in this performance some rather saucy jokes. The regular show will also be terrific.

If you haven’t booked, you should. And please take a little cash for the Old Library appeal, it will help lots.
