New road measures to help social distancing around Thatcham shops
West Berkshire Council has announced a couple of changes to Thatcham’s roads, to aid social distancing in busy areas around shops.
In the Broadway, there is no parking allowed on the western side between Church Gate and the Co-op.
For the full length of Crown Mead, the row of shops along the A4 Bath Road, only one-way westbound traffic is allowed.
These restrictions have already been put in place under emergency powers.
