Kennet Radio DJs to host Mayor of Thatcham’s Fundraising Disco and Quiz
The Mayor of Thatcham is holding his annual Fundraiser Disco and Quiz on Friday 22nd April. It’ll be hosted by Kennet Radio DJ’s Tony Christian and Graham Pocock at the Mercure Newbury West Grange Hotel in Midgham.
A choice of Chicken or Vegetable curry and rice, plus entry to the evening’s fun quiz, are included in the ticket price. That is £25 each and profits will be divided equally between Thatcham children’s charity, Swings and Smiles, and Thatcham Town Cricket Club – both good causes chosen by Thatcham Mayor, Councillor John Boyd.
The evening will last from 7pm until 11,30pm with Tony and Graham spinning some great retro tunes and, no doubt, indulging in some of the witty repartee which has earnt them the monicker, “Those scallywags”.
There will be a cash bar open all evening. The hotel has a large car park and is well serviced by taxis. This is an evening not to be missed!
