Join in the Mayor’s Charity Quiz Night
The Mayor of Newbury is inviting everyone to put their knowledge to the test by taking part in a Charity Quiz Night. Cllr Billy Drummond is inviting teams of up to 6 people to take part in the quiz on Friday 1st October 2021, taking place in the Council Chamber starting at 7pm.
The event will raise funds for the Mayor’s Benevolent Fund, which helps those in need within our local community, and his nominated charity Speakability which supports local people with Aphasia. For £15 per person, you will also be treated to a luxury grazing platter, a glass of wine and automatic entry into the raffle.
The Mayor of Newbury, Cllr Billy Drummond said,
“I’m looking forward to this event which should be a lot of fun. It will be an entertaining evening which will be all the better for raising money for charity. I encourage as many as possible to come and take part.”
