Work Experience for schools with Kennet Radio
Last week, Park House School student Beau visited the Kennet Radio Studios in Newbury for his Work Experience session. It was a full-on day with Beau sitting in with The Clarke Breakfast Show presenter David Clarke and also with Peter Harris on his Morning Show.
Beau watched how the shows were presented and saw how the studio desk and multiple screens were operated and controlled for broadcast and for interaction with Kennet Radio listeners.
During the afternoon, Beau also attended Kevin Dyson’s Studio where some of Kennet Radio’s multi-media ‘backroom’ tasks and preparations are done. Beau recorded and edited his voice using an audio editor, designed a poster using a graphic design app and merged these two pieces of media together to make a short film where he thanked David Clarke and Peter Harris for their time and expertise.
