Winter grants available for local charities and good causes

With the cost of living crisis a stark reality, Berkshire Community Foundation understand that charities and organisations need more help than ever before to keep going through the winter months. With this in mind, they have reopened the Surviving Winter grant for further applications.

They’ll be awarding grants of up to £2,500 to voluntary groups and charities across Berkshire, with priority being given to those working with the most vulnerable people.

If you have already received funding via their previous grant round from Surviving Winter then you ARE eligible to re-apply however, you will need to provide clear evidence that further funding is required.

If you’re already in receipt of a Berkshire Community Foundation grant you can still apply, as long as your application meets the eligibility criteria. You’ll find everything you need on their website .

The round will close for applications at 10am on Tuesday 23rd January 2024 and they’ll let you know if you’ve been successful as soon as possible in February 2024.
