Volunteers Needed for Giant Dominoes in Newbury

We heard on the Simon Trevers Programme last Wednesday (1st June) that Station House Opera is bringing Dominoes to Newbury and they are looking for 150 volunteers to make a giant dominoes event happen. The event is being held in Newbury town centre on the 25th June 2022.

Volunteers will help by laying dominoes and working together to look after parts of the route on the day. Friends, families, neighbours, work groups, book groups, societies, sports teams, far distant cousins- everyone is invited to come and get involved.

Volunteers would need to be available for a briefing in the week before, date yet to be confirmed, and from 9am-6pm on the day (the Domino fall is at 3pm on 25th June). Participants must be 14 years and over, and under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Free catering will be provided on the day for all those involved.
