Two people arrested in connection with drug offences.
Thames Valley Police has arrested two people in connection with drugs supply offences in Newbury.
A 17-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man, both from Newbury, were arrested on Tuesday (5/12).
The 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and the 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs. Both were released under investigation.
The arrests took place after an officer saw what appeared to be a drug deal taking place on Tuesday in Hamilton Court, Newbury. A house was subsequently searched and suspected drugs, drugs paraphernalia and a quantity of cash were seized.
