The ladies are busy at Donnington Grove Golf Club

Juliet Culley, ladies captain, reports a busy month with ladies knockout matches including the
Duncan Trophy, which is played against West Berkshire Gold Club, resulting in a narrow loss. The
ladies hosted Newbury & Crookham Golf Club in the ‘Academia Matchplay’, and despite the high
temperatures Grove Golf recorded a win. The next round is against East Berkshire Golf Club on 22nd
June.

Helen Lake represented Grove Golf at Hockley Golf Club in “the race to Woodhall Spa”, and with that
knock out match still in progress over the coming days we await news to hear if Helen has
progressed.

8th June saw a mixed team go to Studley Wood, which was a loss 4.5 to 2.5.
