Stunning bird’s eye view of the Michaelmas Fair

Newbury’s Michaelmas Fair took place last week between Wednesday and Saturday in Goldwell Park. It was opened by the Mayor of Newbury. It is organised each year by the Showmen’s Guild of Great Britain, and acts as an “end of season” event for them, as a curtain-raiser for “The Showman’s Show” at Newbury Showground, which is on October 20th and 21st. 

Kennet Radio’s volunteer presenter Ali captured this stunning image of the fair in full swing. Ali presents Glitterball, two hours of dance and club classics between 6pm and 8pm on Saturdays, and Saturday Chatterday between 11am and 1pm on Saturdays.
