School uniform exchange opportunity
As young ones grow, it can be an expensive business making sure they have school uniforms that fit them.
As the start of the new term arrives, parents are increasingly turning to “uniform exchange” to clothe their school children economically.
On Saturday 21st August, there will be a School Uniform Exchange and Café at St Nicolas Church Hall, West Mills, Newbury from 9am until 2.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to come along and consider opportunities for uniform exchange while enjoying coffee and cake at reasonable prices.
The event is being organised by Christians Against Poverty, which is a national registered charity, whose patron is the Archbishop of Canterbury. They aim to help and advise people who are caught in poverty, guiding them to a debt-free future, and have a very active branch in Newbury.
