PODCAST: A life-changing cycle accident led a Newbury man to create Kombucha and Sauerkraut

Newbury man George Turner had an accident on his bicycle that left him in hospital for six months. Doctors gave him a 50/50 chance of surviving.

Fortunately, he survived and has now relearnt how to talk and walk. Unable to resume his previous career as an investigative journalist, George turned to fermenting Kombucha and sauerkraut. He runs a business selling his output, called Fermented Reality. He sells his produce at local markets.
