Tickets are now on sale for this year’s fabulous Newbury Spring Festival.
The Festival runs from 11th to 25th May, and there are over 40 concerts and performances – classical to jazz, world music, cabaret, ballet and talks, all taking place in and around Newbury.
Many famous musicians and performers come to Newbury for this world-renowned two-week festival.
A large stage has to be built in St Nicolas Church, big enough to hold a full orchestra, and very often a grand piano.
This year, thanks to the Greenham Trust, there are some concerts which are free for anyone under 25.
