Newbury’s favourite fireworks display is back to light up the skies on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at the historic Newbury Racecourse.
This year marks a significant milestone as the event celebrates its 50th anniversary. Organised entirely by dedicated volunteers from the Lions Club of Newbury, this family-friendly extravaganza promises an unforgettable night of entertainment while raising essential funds for the local community.
Since last year’s event, the Lions Club of Newbury has donated over £50,000 to support individuals and families in need within our community, thanks to the generous support of attendees like you. The event’s success hinges on your continued patronage.
Expect a fantastic array of sweet stalls and food vendors offering delectable street foods, burgers, hot dogs, noodles, and a licensed bar serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including mulled wine. The funfair and children’s entertainment, nestled within the Grandstand, will keep the little ones enthralled.
Kennet Radio will be there as usual to provide a musical accompaniment to your evening.
Newbury Racecourse is easily accessible by foot and public transport, with ample free parking on-site. Gates open at 5 pm, allowing ample time to enjoy the festivities before the display commences at around 7:30 pm. This is an advance ticket-only event, so click here to secure your tickets early via Eventbrite to avoid disappointment.
