New playground for Skyllings

Work starts this month on a new playground for older children at Skyllings, Newbury.

Local residents have helped to shape how the playground will look.

Exciting new equipment includes a ‘wobble board’, ‘spinner’ and ‘gravity bowl’. There’ll also be other items which have been popular in the town’s Victoria Park.

This has all been provided by money from local developers.

NEW PLAYGROUND AT SKYLLINGS! Newbury Town Council will soon start work to install a new playground for older children at Skyllings on 21 August 2020. The project should take around 3 weeks to complete and the work will be carried out by Playdale Ltd.
