Thames Valley Kings Reign Supreme in Thatcham

This afternoons home match saw the Thames Valley Kings up against the Gloucester Blazers. Straight from the tip off the Kings scored a basket to which the Blazers replied almost immediately, from then on it was a game of tit for tat until well into the 3rd quarter. There were some inspired shots from both sides, as well as plenty of near misses when the Blazers denied a number of Kings shots.

The action was fast & furious with the Blazers seeming to lose pace towards the end of the 3rd quarter. With some fast ball action from Reece Barker seeing the Kings make huge strides towards winning the match. Some very generous play saw a great many of the Kings players have attempts on goal, including a number of unlucky shots from Vickie Simmons.

Overall a great, fast paced game which saw Thames Valley Kings the victors at the end. 53 – 30
