Hungerford Town FC doing their bit for kids

This Thursday (29th October) Hungerford Town FC joined Marcus Rashford’s campaign and stepped up to offer a free meal  to any child receiving free school meals from local schools, Hungerford Town Primary School, John O’Gaunt School, Lambourn CofE, Inkpen, Chaddleworth St Andrews and Kintbury.

The club said:

We applaud Marcus’s initiative and believe that no child should ever go hungry

The jacket potatoes were given away from the tea bar at the teams Bulpit Lane tea bar, they also offered a free delivery service to those children that were unable to get to the club from the surrounding villages.

Hungerford Town , who are currently 3rd in the league face 2nd placed Dorking on Saturday 31st at home at 3.00
