Yesterday Hungerford Town FC confirmed a two year sponsorship deal with local housebuilder, Bewley Homes.
The deal will see the company’s logo on the front of the new first team shirt. The team will also have a new red away shirt with the same logo on the front.
The Crusaders’ Chairman, Patrick Chambers and Bewley Homes Managing Director Andrew Brooks unveiled the new shirt at the clubs Bulpit Lane ground yesterday.
Chairman Patrick Chambers said:
This is fantastic news for the club. We are delighted Bewley Homes has decided to sponsor Hungerford Town Football Club for the next two years with an option for a third season. We strongly believe the partnership will be beneficial to both parties.
Managing Director of Bewley Homes Andrew Brooks said:
An opportunity like this doesn’t always present itself, so we are delighted we can forge this major partnership with Hungerford Town Football Club. It’s our way of putting something extra back into the community by supporting the town’s local club where we are building.
Patrick Chambers went on to say:
Bewley homes coming in as our main shirt sponsor has given the club a much needed boost after losing all three of last seasons shirt sponsors in these uncertain times.
They have been an absolute pleasure to deal with and they are committed to the club on a two year deal with an option of a further year and will get actively involved in supporting our great club. Also a big thank you to Fastframe UK who have taken the back of the shirt. As a club we have decided to dedicate the available sleeve to the I LOVE NHS logo as a sign of gratitude to all involved in caring for the nation.
Hungerford Town FC who play in the Vanarama National League South are very keen to make a start on kicking off the new season. Kennet Radio’s Sports Editor Steve Prout recently spoke to new manager Danny Robinson who confirmed that he was excited and positive for the new season.
Bewley Homes has started to build its exciting new 2,3, 4- and 5-bedroom development at Lancaster Park on Salisbury Road and hopes to raise awareness of its new homes with the sponsorship.
