Greenham Common Control Tower expands its opening hours

Greenham Common Control Tower has expanded its opening hours – and its café is now fully open with seating inside the ground floor of tower building.

Visitors can view the inside of the tower including the museum and the observation deck. The tower and the café are now open during these hours:

WEDNESDAY – 10:30-15:00

THURSDAY – 10:30-15:00

FRIDAY – 10:30-15:00

SATURDAY – 10:00-16:00

SUNDAY –10:00-16:00

A note on the Control Tower’s website describes the operation of the café :

“We will continue to serve outside take-away and the marquee will remain in place for those who prefer to sit outside.

Over the coming weeks we will be looking to review the menu and return gradually to the choices that would have been offered before lockdown – a special emphasis on having a range of high-quality cakes to enjoy!

The cafe layout has been designed to facilitate an element of social distancing plus windows and doors will be open to provide ventilation as the safety of our customers and staff is our priority.”
