D-Day 80 PODCAST: RAF Welford museum opens its doors to Kennet Radio

As we approach the 80th anniversary of D-Day on June 6th , Kennet Radio was invited to the RAF Welford Museum.

Just ten miles north west of Newbury, RAF Welford was one of half a dozen local airfields used by the United States Air Force in the war, from Aldermaston in the East to Ramsbury to the west in Wiltshire. It now serves as the second-largest United States Air Force munitions depot in Europe.
