At Newtown Road Recycling Centre, the reuse donation point is now accepting toys, furniture, bicycles and bric-a-brac.

Remember that you need to book an appointment to visit Newtown Road Recycling centre here.

From next Monday April 12th,  the Community Furniture Project Shop will be re-opening in Unit F Hambridge Road Industrial Estate, Bone Lane, Newbury, RG14 5SS.

The project has also recently launched an online shop here.

The Community Furniture project is part of the Newbury Community Resource Centre and describes its activity on its website as follows:

The Project operates a furniture and household goods re-use service. Our Project enables people to donate items, knowing that they will be put to good use in helping others to improve their living conditions and benefiting the most vulnerable members of our local community. Surplus funds generated through the operation of the Project directly support the wide range of other services provided by the charity to vulnerable members of the local community.
