Christians Against Poverty helping West Berkshire people in debt
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) are a national charity providing a free debt help service. They have a debt centre in Newbury which provides advice for people all over West Berkshire. The charity helps thousands of people get out of debt every year, equipping them with the tools and confidence to face any storms that may come their way in the future.
In 2018, Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis said to CAP staff:
“Christians Against Poverty isn’t about helping Christians, it’s about helping people. The drive, the reason you do it, is your Christianity and your faith and I will never knock that. I think that’s right. The most important thing is the enormous number of results, and every time I mention Christians Against Poverty, I get people who tell me how it’s changed their lives.”
Christians Against Poverty can be contacted on 0800 328 0006 or on their website capdebthelp.org
