A34 brought to a standstill at lunchtime

The A34, Newbury Bypass has ground to a halt this afternoon with two vehicles involved in a road traffic collision.

The two vehicles involved were travelling southbound at A4 Bath Road.

Congestion is currently as far back as Chieveley services however we have been informed that all lanes have now been re-opened with the vehicles securely relocated to the side of the road awaiting recovery.

Travel time is around 25-30 minutes.
