UPDATED: Thatcham Level Crossing CLOSED weekends from Sat 4th Nov 2017

UPDATE: The works planned to take place over 11^th – 13^th Nov have been cancelled in order to minimise disruption during the Thatcham Remembrance Parade on Sun 12^th Nov.

Crookham Hill will be closed at Thatcham Level Crossing for 3 consecutive weekends while Network Rail repair and complete maintenance works to the crossing. All traffic will be diverted via Station Road, The Moors, A4, A339, Bury’s Bank Road, Crookham Hill and vice versa. Part of the works will involve removing the surface of the crossing so it will not be possible to maintain access for pedestrians or emergency vehicles. The closures will be in place between

• 11pm on Sat 11^th Nov – 6:30am on Mon 13^th Nov
• 11pm on Sat 18^th Nov – 6:30am on Mon 20^th Nov
