Storytelling in Newtown Road Cemetery – A Hoot for Halloween
The Friends of Newtown Road Cemetery are back this year with a brand new story for Halloween.
Martin Strike writes about a schoolboy who sold his soul to the devil many years ago and is trying to get it back. Why does he have to visit the Chapel every Halloween at dusk? The story of ‘Unfortunately’ will tell you.
This event will be in collaboration with City Arts who’ll be running a mask making workshop on Monday 28th October from 1.30-4.30pm (cost £5.00 /person).
Tickets cost £3.00 with the event starting at 6.30pm on Thursday 31st October. Contact Brian Sylvester on 01635 580012 or [email protected] to book your place.
As an extra added bonus, children who made a mask at the workshop and bring it to the event will gain free entry and will be included in the story!
