Revealed – what the new café in Newbury’s Victoria Park will look like

Here’s what the new café will look like in Newbury’s Victoria Park (above).
Newbury Town Council, following careful consideration of the architect’s designs, opted for a design from Michael Pagliaroli Architects Ltd.
In particular, the council stressed the importance of having a solar panel provision and said the design was to have external only access to toilet facilities, the addition of at least one further baby changing facility to one of the three toilet areas whilst retaining the changing places facility.
Finally, an external serving hatch (as existing) is to be incorporated in addition to the service counter provision inside the café .
There are two design options for the outside – one with exterior cladding, the other without (above and below). Also below is a detailed image of the proposed building’s interior lay-out.
