PODCAST: Adder tunnels at Greenham and Crookham Commons
Berkshire Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) have recently built “adder tunnels” under Old Thornford Road to connect parts of Greenham and Crookham Commons, allowing adders and other wildlife to move around under the road.
Roger Stace is West Berkshire Land Manager for BBOWT and he recently spoke with Kennet Radio about how the adder tunnels came about and what they do.
