Kings Division Three team gear up for new 2017/18 British Wheelchair Basketball Season
The Thames Valley Kings return to the court on Saturday, October 28th to begin their new season in British Wheelchair Basketball’s Division Three South West League.
The Club who picked up the Queen’s Award earlier in the year have had an action-packed summer preparing for the new season with some members representing the club at two major Junior competitions but it will be the senior’s teams first league match since early June.
Wokingham based Kings Division Three Coach, Grant Barker says
“We can’t wait for the season to start, we have been training extra hard this year and we hope to improve on our 4th place finish from last year”.
Club Captain Wayne Burton adds
“Looking forward to this season with some new teams to face making it more interesting. Can’t wait to see how we work as a team with a few new members of the team, it’s been a tough pre-season but I know we are all strong… Let’s go, KINGS”
