Kennet Radio is one of “Newbury’s Christmas Heroes 2024”

Kennet Radio has its own “bauble” (above) on the Newbury Town Hall Christmas Tree, as one of “Newbury’s Christmas Heroes 2024”!

Back in October, Visit Newbury launched the Newbury Christmas Heroes campaign, “a new initiative designed to celebrate the amazing people of our town”.

They called for “nominations to recognize individuals, charities, and businesses that have gone above and beyond over the past year”.

They added: “Whether it’s a friend, family member, someone in the community, or a local hero, we want to hear about their personal achievements and contributions…(to celebrate) the incredible people who make Newbury such a wonderful community!”

There are a host of organisations and people with their own bauble on the tree. Why not go along and have a look? It’s just outside Newbury Town Hall in the Market Place.

Kennet Radio is extremely proud to have been nominated and featured on the tree.
