Hamstead Marshall’s Good Hope Farm needs your help
The Good Hope Farm in Hamstead Marshall is a Community Interest Company for the benefit of Adults with Learning Disabilities and the local community . They seek to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for adults with special needs working on a small organic farm to promote self-expression, confidence and purposeful activities connected with nature. They want to work towards a goal of closer integration with peers and the local community and create a positive image about disability.
Good Hope Farm needs your help:
As we grow, our immediate need is to get a room where we can all meet up in the morning and at lunch time when the weather is still cold and wet. We call it our Hub Space Currently, as many of you who have seen when visiting or volunteering, we have only a delightful wooden shed, which is being used as our current meeting room and office. However, that space is very small and cannot accommodate a group of clients and their carers. We absolutely need a new space to accommodate at least 8 people. This will allow us to have a safe indoor and warm space to meet up in the morning, have lunch or even do activities when the weather is poor outside.
To help Good Hope Farm with their hub space, please go to their Good Exchange appeal page.
