Touch to See

Monday 11th December 2017, 10.30am – 12.00pm
West Berkshire Museum
FREE

This is a sociable discussion group for those with visual impairments that meets monthly for a chat and a cup of tea. The group has access to tactile and audio resources from the Living Paintings library enabling them to explore the work of famous artists, architects and designers, Local artists and guest speakers are also invited to talk about their work.

“I find it a very friendly group, we have some laughs and lots of fun! The interest we’ve had from the artists have been really good; they’ve been really willing to introduce their work to those unable to see – at first it doesn’t seem that art can be accessible to visually impaired people but it really can be!”
