On Saturday Chatterday tomorrow, Paul will be talking with TV and Radio legend – and local resident – Chris Tarrant. Chris will be talking about recovering from his stroke and what he’s up to these days.

Paul will also be chatting with volunteers at the Speen Community Cafe, Great Speen Bake-off.

Local business guru Alex Tucker will be sharing his tips for 2023.

The Great Speen Bake-off, held on Wednesday this week, was part of the regular Speen Community Cafe. The cafe is held in the Starting Gun pub in Speen. Chris Tarrant kindly attended to act as judge and raffle caller for the event. 60 local people thronged the pub for the event. The winner of the Bake-Off was Catherine Butcher of Newbury, who impressed the judges with her beautiful icing snow scene on top of a splendid cake.
