28th November – “Magical, beautiful” Hungerford Christmas lights switch-on – Kennet Radio will be there

On Kennet Radio’s Breakfast Show last Thursday, the Mayor of Hungerford, Councillor Helen Simpson, announced the date of Hungerford’s Christmas Lights Switch-on this year:

We’re turning on Hungerford’s Christmas Lights on Sunday November 28th and everyone is welcome to attend – we’d love to see you again in person.

The town is lit up – very famously – by our magical, beautiful Christmas lights – that soft white glow in the town that we’ve all come to appreciate. We arer so looking fofrward to having that back and turning it on for the first time since Covid.

We also have the Victorian Extravaganza on Friday December 10th. This is managed by the Hungerford Chamber of Commerce who work incredibly hard to bring that to the town.

Once again, Kennet Radio will be there at the Lights Switch-on, helping to make the event memorable.
