Upgraded tennis and netball courts for the Local Community

West Berkshire Council has announced, in collaboration with Kennet School and Everyone Active, the unveiling of a significant Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) upgrading project, revitalising six courts for tennis and netball for pupils and the wider community. This transformative upgrade was made possible by funding from West Berkshire Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with additional contributions from Kennet School and Everyone Active, the operators of the adjacent leisure centre.

The newly-resurfaced courts have been fully remarked to improve usability and accessibility for all age groups, from primary school children to senior teams across the local area. The project reflects Kennet School’s commitment to fostering active lifestyles and supporting community wellbeing.
