Thatcham Mayor John Boyd holds Reception

Last Friday evening (29th April 2022) Thatcham Mayor Cllr John Boyd held a Reception to thank everyone who had supported both him and the town during his year as Mayor.

Among those recognised by Councillor Boyd were Kennet Radio presenters Graham Pocock and Tony Christian.  Councillor Boyd presented both with a Mayor’s Award, including a framed certificate and a special lapel badge. 

Others recognised included the Newbury Weekly News reporter, Hinna Aamani, and the paper’s photographer, Phil Cannings.

The event was held at Thatcham Football Club.
