Oh yes it is – it’s Sleeping Beauty at the Corn Exchange

Last Friday, Sleeping Beauty raised its curtain for the very first time this festive season, as families of Newbury and beyond came to experience this spell-binding production at the Corn Exchange Newbury.

This year’s pantomime is written and directed by Plested and Brown (Clare Plested, Adam Brown and Amanda Wilsher).  Together they have created a jam-packed show full of silliness, songs to sing along to, stunning dance routines and plenty of magic and sparkle.

Feedback from audiences has so far been overwhelmingly positive and many performances are now sold out or have limited availability.  So snap up your tickets now – to miss Sleeping Beauty would be a nightmare!

Adult Nights

A special feature for grown-ups is the Adult Night performances.

For a fun grown-up night out the Adult Nights are a great way to get into the festive spirit with a few extra innuendos and the silliness ramped up.

These are strictly for over 18s and best availability is on Saturday 7th  December and Thursday 12th December at 8pm.

Accessibilty

The Corn Exchange strives to make the pantomime as accessible as possible and this year there is a Captioned performance on 2nd January at 2pm and a Signed performance on 3rd  January at 2pm which are suitable for those who are Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing.

There is also a Relaxed Performance on 4th January at 10am, which offers an environment suitable for anyone on the Autistic Spectrum, those living with dementia and/or sensory and communication needs

And there is an Audio Described performance on 4th January at 2pm for those who are visually impaired to experience sets, costumes, props and stage actions.
