Lidl and Deichmann confirmed for Newbury Retail Park

Two further well known brands have completed letting agreements at the Newbury Retail Park site.

BMO Commercial Property Trust Ltd, which is managed by BMO Real Estate Partners, has agreed the deals with Lidl and Deichmann.

Joining the newer offering of Hobbycraft, an arts and crafts superstore retail chain, which opened a new 7,800 sq ft store in the former Poundworld unit on a ten-year lease. BCPT has also pre-let two-thirds of the former Homebase unit to supermarket chain Lidl, on a 25-year lease.

In addition, Deichmann, a German footwear retailer, has contracted to take 6,000 sq ft of space, comprising half of the former Mothercare unit, on a ten-year lease.

Located just south of the Newbury town centre, the retail park is home to tenants including M&S Foodhall, T K Maxx, Starbucks, Argos, Boots, Next, New Look, Dixons Carphone, Matalan, Mountain Warehouse and Costa Coffee.
