Gas leak on Hambridge Road, Newbury

Due to a gas leak an emergency closure eastbound has been installed on Hambridge Road, Newbury. This is outside The Old London apprentice Public House and means it is not possible to turn from Boundary Road towards Thatcham.

Drivers are advised to use the A339 and A4 to get to Thatcham.

The closure is likely to be in place for at least two days.
