The Nutcracker @ Arlington Arts

One of Tchaikovsky’s most famous compositions and a popular Christmas ballet presentation, The Nutcracker, will be brought to life by Ballet Theatre UK, Christmas 2017. This well-loved traditional Christmas ballet will be performed in a unique setting with 24 international dancers, from companies around the world.

The Nutcracker ballet recounts the adventures of a young girl Clara the night before Christmas. When Clara falls asleep with her Nutcracker, an army of mice attack her toys and the Nutcracker. On her journey she sees magical Snowflakes, dancing dolls and a Christmas tree that reaches the sky.

This opulent new production promises everything you love about The Nutcracker, brighter and more splendid than ever before. Tchaikovsky’s most loved and unforgettable musical score combines with magical choreography, exquisite costumes and breathtaking scenery that together creates an atmosphere of fantasy and illusion.
