Corn Exchange Celebrate 10 Years of Outdoor Events with Fire

The streets of Newbury transformed by fire as the Corn Exchange celebrate ten years of outdoor events.

As a spectacular successor to their popular Ablaze fire installation on the Kennet and Avon canal in 2013, legendary French fire artists Carabosse have visited Newbury to transform the familiar landscape of the town’s streets and squares into a magical and mesmeric wonderland of flickering flames. As much alchemists as artists, Carabosse have travelled the world, never failing to enchant audiences from the very young to the very old.

Wandering the streets amidst thousands of clay fire pots, suspended illuminations and ingenious kinetic sculptures, you were able to sit, watch and listen as live music and beautiful firelight provide truly magical moments that’ll change the way you feel about the town forever.

The event runs until 13th October starting 7.30pm both Saturday and Sunday. This is one you definitely don’t want to miss.
