Thames Valley Kings founder named Influential Women of the Year finalist in Venus Awards

Kings founder and head coach Jacqueline Scoins-Cass has been named a finalist  in Thames Valley Venus Awards  in the Influential Women of the Year category at the Finalist Announcement held in the Grosvenor Casino in Reading last Thursday (April 6th).
Since it’s establishment in 2004, The Thatcham based Wheelchair Basketball Club with Jacqueline at it’s helm has endeavored  to provide a high quality wheelchair basketball programme that is accessible to players of all ages and abilities.  the club strives to support, inspire and become a social hub for everyone – believing that by actively encouraging both disabled and able bodied players, the club can create a fun and engaging atmosphere.
The awards often referred to as the Working Women’s Oscars, were formed in 2009 to recognise, reward and celebrate local working women in business.
The final awards event will be the Winners Ceremony and Gala Dinner due to be held on the 9th June 2017 at Madejski Stadium, Reading.
