Thames Valley Kings Annual Awards sees Members Shine.

Last Friday night (23th June) saw the Thames Valley Kings Wheelchair Basketball Club’s annual awards evening celebrating the club’s continued success! The event at Thatcham rugby club, sponsored by L Titcombe & Family Funeral Directors saw former Kings Member and GB European U25 gold medalist Kayla Bell was the Guest of Honor. Handing out the awards. In attendance for the awards evening were Thatcham Mayor, Cllr Ellen Crumly, Vice Chairman of West Berkshire Council Cllr Carol Jackson-Doerge & members of Berkshire Community Foundation and Thatcham Photography Club.

Division Three Players Player and Adult Most Improved Winner Vickie Simmons stated 

“I am very honored and chuffed to bits to have won Most Improved Adult and Players Player by my team!! It means the absolute world that my teammates voted for me – thank you all – onto next season!”
